8:42 AM Having met our key objectives yesterday of comprehensive Fit and RDX walk-thrus as well as the RDX introduction, we are going to focus today on filling-in the blanks of what we may have missed from the previous two days' introductions. Among those include the new Toyota Camry, Nissan Sentra, Camaro concept, Lamborghini M-Concept, and anything else that might catch our eyes. Also of note, we've been hearing lots of rumors about this morning's Chrysler press conference being something to see, so we're going to catch that at 9:35am.

I think Jeff is processing some eye candy right now and he should have pics in a few minutes. Stay tuned to TOV. rl

UPDATE 10:35AM The Chrysler folks have been telling us all week that the press conference they planned for today was a "can't miss" sort of deal, so since we're leaving later this afternoon, we got up at the crack of dawn and hustled on over. I can tell you we were NOT disappointed - the performance was quite entertaining. The theme was a sort of winter wonderland and to set this theme, Chrysler hired Slava's SnowShow group, who made for some pretty good comic relief with several skits in between the presentations of several Chrysler Executives. David Spade was the celebrity cameo during the Caliber introduction and he cracked a few jokes, including "dude, anything looks good next to a Neon", or something along those lines. Whether this was scripted or not, I'm not sure, but the execs acted like they were taken offguard. We have only a few more hours here before we have to scoot to the airport, so I'm heading back downstairs to try to get as much footage as I can. If we have time we'll upload some pics a bit later and maybe provide a final update from the floor. jp

UPDATE 12:25PM Yowza!!! Chrysler's presentation was freaking phenomenal. They had a literal blizzard of confetti blown by what must have been a 747 turbine. I was much closer to the stage than Jeff shooting stills and got completely covered in confetti, not to mention the paper clogging the camera lens hood. Unreal. I'm still picking it out of my clothes, pockets, etc. I hope the videos and photos come out great, as it was really quite an experience. To top it off, it looks like Chrysler's Caliber should be a winner as their new entry-level vehicle, with innovative features such as a beverage chiller in the glovebox and removable, rechargable cargo light. Good stuff. The Chrysler Aspen, their first full-size SUV, should be pretty nice, too. With car-height bumpers, it's nice to see a large vehicle emphasizing safety instead of just sheer bruteness.

Jeff and I have been scouring the show floor and have realized there are quite a few things we've missed in working to bring you good coverage of the Honda/Acura goodies. The Aston Martin Rapide is a sexy beast, as is the new Jaguar XK. The Lambo M-Concept is a bit weird; it will be interesting to see if/how it makes it into production.

We're about to head back to the floor to catch more photos before we need to leave for our respective flights. Enjoy our current content and be checking back, as we have lots more to offer in the coming days. rl
