They've sold some already and yet there's no configurator on their site.

I would expect it to be in place by Monday, 02/04, the official starting date of Passport sales.
I think reported numbers are just actual shipments to the dealers, not really a sales.

Phew! I was afraid they had assigned some "Acura Marketing" folks to "help out" on the roll out of the Passport.

Actually it should be sales. If they register a demo vehicle it counts as a sale. Deliveries to dealerships don't count in sales.

The one I saw was for a Honda rep, so demo is probably right.

Well, on another forum there is at least one guy who got his Touring on Wednesday :)
So far he says he is enjoying it!

Thanks.
I just built an AWD Sport with minimal options - roof rails, wheel locks, splash guards, cargo tray, cover, splash guards and floor mats.
After the (insane) $1045 destination charge it came to $36,005. The pricing seems really steep to me. You may have some extra space and a V6 compared to an upper level CR-V but you're stuck with unheated cloth seats, a smaller screen, no moonroof, no blind spot monitoring, no heated side mirrors, no mirror turn signals, no power liftgate, etc.
To get what I would call a reasonably equipped Passport you need to step up to the EX-L and spend $40k+

I get why they did the trims the way they did (profit) but I would have rather they pushed the Sport DOWN a bit to make room for an EX and an EX-L.
This is also when the push for HondaSensing on all trims starts to really annoy me and takes away from properly equipping and structuring the lineup.
A Sport with 18" wheels and no HondaSensing could be...what...$1500-$2000 cheaper? It also has remote start and auto high beams...
Then it's (FWD):
Sport: $30,500
EX: $33,700
EX-L: $36,500
I think that would provide a lot more value for the buyer but less profit for Honda.
Maybe not though - because you might get into an EX and add some extra stuff and find that it's worth it instead of being disappointed.
