Here's the story from Spiedbilde:

This is the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe, caught while out testing in the Buckeye state.

Honda will give the Accord line a midcycle refresh for 2016, highlighted by new styling in the front and rear. The front looks to be inspired by recent products like the Pilot and CRV, but mixed with a more aggressive feel like we saw on the 2016 ILX. New taillights and a rear bumper are the main changes out back.

Minor trim changes are expected for the interior. A 9-speed automatic is likely to replace the six-speed on models with the 3.5-liter V6, as in the 2016 Pilot. We hear that the upgraded Earth Dreams V6 could produce 290 horsepower.

The Plug-In Hybrid, on hiatus for 2014, is expected to return for 2016 and be produced alongside the conventional hybrid in Japan instead of Ohio.

Expect to see the 2016 Accord late this summer for a fall on-sale date.
