“While the auto industry seems to be hit by one challenge after another with transportation issues and parts shortages, the efforts of our dealers helped achieve strong turn rates that maximize the available inventory for our customers,” said Dave Gardner, executive vice president of Business & Sales at American Honda. We aren’t out of the woods yet, but we will continue to manage the supply issues to maximize production and help our dealers meet the needs of our customers.”

“Like much of the industry, we’re riding a bit of a roller coaster due to fluctuating parts supply issues, but strong March sales for Honda and Acura speak to the fact that demand remains strong and our retail deliveries are based primarily on what we can supply to our dealers,” said Mamadou Diallo, vice president of Auto Sales for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Now, the pipeline is getting stronger with the expectation that increased production in the fourth quarter will support important upcoming all-new model introductions, like the CR-V, CR-V Hybrid and Pilot.”

Sales Highlights

Honda light truck sales continue to lead the Honda brand with CR-V topping 22,000 units and HR-V over 8,000 in sales; Ridgeline sets new September record

• CR-V sales achieve 22,000 units in September, building momentum for all-new 2023 CR-V now arriving at dealers.
• Ridgeline posts best-ever sales in September (4,114) and third quarter (12,515).
• Honda electrified sales set new September record with robust sales of the CR-V Hybrid and Accord Hybrid.

The all-new 2023 CR-V sets a new benchmark with rugged styling, increased space, comfort and fun-to-drive performance.

Launching later this year, the all-new 2023 Pilot TrailSport will be Honda’s most rugged SUV ever.

Sales Highlights

Acura posts the brand’s best sales since April, led by the MDX and continued popularity of new Integra.

• All-new Integra sales remain strong, posting sales over 1,500 units for the second straight month and continuing to lead its segment.
• Improved supply helps MDX achieve sales of 4,000 units, posting its best sales in past five months.
