Acura confirms the Integra Type S to arrive next summer

We've known for awhile that Acura had an Integra Type-S in the works, but today they finally confirmed that it will arrive in the summer of 2023.
It appears to use most if not all of the hardware from the FL5 Civic Type R, but wrapped up in a bit more of a muted package, with perhaps a slightly more premium environment.

High-Performance Integra Type S in Development – Slated for Arrival Next Summer
December 5, 2022 — TORRANCE, Calif.
Acura today confirmed the development of a high-performance Integra Type S, set to join the lineup for the 2024 model year. Promising ultimate street performance and driver engagement, the Integra Type S will be powered by a high-revving 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine producing over 300 horsepower and paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential. More details to be shared closer to launch.
