Honda 2011 Model Year Change Summary

TORRANCE, Calif., August 5, 2010 – The most significant news for Honda in the 2011 model year include the introduction of an all-new CR-Z hybrid sport coupe on August 24, an all-new Odyssey minivan in the fall, along with significant enhancements and styling changes to the Accord.

  • 2011 Honda Accord
    The Honda Accord receives significant updates for 2011 including new exterior and interior styling, improvements to EPA estimated fuel economy on many trims, the addition of premium feature content throughout the lineup and a new SE (Special Edition) trim featuring a leather-trimmed interior.

    • New Aluminum Wheel
    • USB Audio Interface (EX trim and above plus LX-S Coupe)
    Accord Sedan• Updated Trunk Lid
    • Rearview Camera (Navi models)

    Estimated EPA mpg changes• 4-cylinder AT: combined EPA +2 mpg = 8% improvement
    • V6 AT: combined EPA +1 mpg = 4% improvement

  • 2011 Honda Accord Crosstour
    No significant changes.

  • 2011 Honda Civic
    No significant changes.

  • 2011 Honda CR-V
    New, LX-based SE (Special Edition) trim. Details to come.

  • 2011 Honda CR-Z
    The all-new 2011 Honda CR-Z sport hybrid coupe introduces sleek styling and sporty handling to the hybrid segment. It is the first hybrid designed to maximize style and fun in addition to efficiency and economy. Set to go on sale late-summer in the U.S., the CR-Z is powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine with Honda’s compact and lightweight Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid-electric system. The two-passenger CR-Z introduces a new three-mode drive system that allows the driver to select between Sport, Econ (Economy) and Normal driving modes. Specifications*

    The Honda Fit was all-new in the 2009 model year. For 2011, the Fit Sport trim receives increased content with the addition of VSA and floor mats (previously an accessory item).
