American Honda Reports February 2022 sales results

Given the lack of supply, Honda's sales numbers for February were expected to be pretty bad, and as you can see, they are pretty bad. It is our understanding that Honda was forced to cancel prior allocations to some dealers due to these circumstances, which means that at least for some dealers there are currently very few new vehicles arriving, so it may be a few more months before we see this situation begin to improve.

- Customer demand remains strong with nearly 60% of vehicles en route to dealers pre-sold
- HR-V continues strong performance in February with 13th consecutive monthly sales record
- Acura sales approach 10,000 sales with stronger MDX supply boosting Acura SUVs over 7,000 units
- Success of customer pre-orders helps MDX Type S contribute about 10% of MDX total sales
