American Honda Posts Best Q1 Results in Three Years Led by Strong March Sales

- Honda brand reaches 118,536 in March up 14.9%, the brand's best month since 2021
- Honda sees over 20% growth in Q1 on total sales of 303,451
- Honda SUVs post strong March: HR-V, CR-V, Passport and Pilot each with their best month of 2024
- CR-V tops 36,500 units in March (+17.9%), with nearly half coming from CR-V hybrid sales
- Pilot tops 12,600 units in March (+21.0%), the model's best month since July 2021
- Civic and Accord combine for over 41,000 units in March (+20.7%)
- Acura posts March sales of 11,968 units; best month of 2024 for the brand and each model in the lineup
- Integra tops 2,500 units; leads premium gateway segment with 3X the sales of nearest competitor
- Acura SUVs combine for more than 8,500 units with both MDX and RDX topping 4,100 units in March

"Our March sales momentum came in like a lion and went out like a lion with both the Honda and Acura brands continuing to post strong gains driven by balanced sales of cars and SUVs," said Mamadou Diallo, senior vice president of Auto Sales at American Honda Motor Co. Inc. "Nearly all models across our lineup posted increases, demonstrating the true strength of the Honda and Acura lineup when we finally have supply to meet customer demand."
